BAGUIO CITY - Farmers in Kalinga are demanding compensation for poor harvest due allegedly to the gross negligence of the contractor of the Upper Chico River Irrigation System (UCRIS) and the National Irrigation Administration (NIA).

Seminars set at Agrilink trade show

MANILA, Philippines -- The government plans to release P60 billion of the coconut levy funds before yearend to help try to save the industry, which is currently in peril due to pest infestation, Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol said.
